What this service covers.
Most of the stairs we install are exterior aluminum stairs: a deck stair, a side-entrance stair or the flight down from a balcony, built with the railing as one piece. Powder-coated aluminum does not rot like timber or rust like painted steel, so the stair keeps its looks in BC weather.
On its own or carrying a matching picket or glass guard, the stair and the railing are made together so the fixings line up and the guard sits where it was drawn.

Our designer measures and draws up your job, the glass is made to those measurements by trusted local glass manufacturers such as Garibaldi Glass, and one of our own installation teams fits it.

Do aluminum stairs meet code?
Yes, when the rise, run, headroom and guard height are specified correctly, and specifying to code is part of the quote rather than something we leave you to check. If an existing opening cannot take a code-compliant flight, we will tell you at the measure.
Can you match the railing to the stair?
That is the normal way we do it. Making the stair and the guard as one assembly is what keeps the fixings and the sightlines right, and it is why stairs sit in the railings group.
What colours are available?
Stairs are powder-coated, usually in the same colour as the railing. White, black and grey are the most popular; we confirm the options on your quote.
