Can you cut around light fixtures and outlets?
Yes. Cut-outs and notches are made to the on-site measurements, so tell us about every fixture at the measure, they cannot be added once the mirror is cut.
My mirror has dark spots around the edges. Can it be fixed?
Those spots are the silver backing breaking down, usually from moisture getting behind the edge. It cannot be reversed, so the mirror is replaced, and we look at why the moisture got in so the new one lasts.
What edge finishes can I have?
Polished is the clean modern default; a bevel adds a soft reflective border and a more traditional feel. We will show you the difference at the quote.
How is a large mirror fixed to the wall?
Method depends on size, weight and substrate, clips, adhesive, or both. We choose based on what your wall actually is, which is one of the things we check at the measure.
